Hope isn't a bad thing

On my journey from Thoothukudi -> Chennai -> Sunnyvale, traversed through harder than boulder paths, met tender hearts and bolder eyes, loved and hated, laughed and cried, made beautiful haunting memories. In that emotional odyssey, hope is the most important virtue which kept me alive and let me make the move consistently.

It could be a silly incident but it made me think hope isn't really a bad thing.

"It was a blissful sunny morning in Mountain View. I was still getting cozier in my bed, snoozing my alarm for more than an hour. Finally when i got the urge to rise from bed, clock hands already went past 8.30 a.m. Sneaked out of my room with not wanting to see my house owner aunty as the first person for the day. I tiptoed and got ready. Happily ate dosa, one of my morning rituals that i would never really miss. I have to walk from my house for 5 minutes to catch my scheduled bus. Before i could sort out the things and go out to catch my bus, i was late by 2 mins. On a normal day, i would have just striked out the option of taking the bus as I know the buses are very punctual and get on the road by sharp 9.45 a.m. But then i thought of giving it a try and left the house at 9.42 a.m with lesser hope to catch the bus. Lesser or more, nevertheless it is hope. I crossed the road and started walking towards the bus. By then, bus already had moved. It was not really the driver's responsibility to stop the bus when he sees me on the walking pathway 100m away from the stop. But he did stop the bus and opened the door with a beautiful smile. Missing the bus wouldn't have had any impact on me but the gesture of the driver to halt the bus made an effect on me. Irrespective of whether I am good or bad, lazy or active, correct or wrong, arrogant or innocent, always there are beautiful people around me who sweeps away my miserability"
It could be a random incident but it entrusted the hope on me again. Small things create more meaning to the life.

PS: this is my first post, i am planning to continue this blog with my day-to-day life incidents which create some impact on me. Please comment if you can relate to it or if you want to share the feedback.
